Jambo! I've created this page to raise awareness and (hopefully) get some support for my upcoming trip to Tanzania. Through the organization Global Service Corps, I'll travel to Arusha, Tanzania, and visit schools, churches, and town meetings to discuss HIV/AIDS prevention and education. I'll live with a Tanzanian family, and hopefully get some idea of what day-to-day life is like in east Africa. Global Service Corps is a non-profit organization with no political, governmental, or religious affiliations.

Now, the reason for this page. This trip is going to run me over $5000, including airfare and program fees. I'm hoping some generous souls out there can scrounge up a couple of dollars and some well-wishes/good mojo/juju to help me on my way. Asante sana (thanks very much) for anything you can give!
